Danny Clark (Ben Mendlesohn) receives the family car as a gift on his eighteenth birthday – a very uncool Nissan Cedric. Danny is hell bent on a Jaguar, a vehicle that he is sure will attract beautiful Joanna Johnston on a date. He trades in the Cedric on a Mark 1 Jag from shonky car dealer, Gordon Farkas. But the engine blows upon the date, so, with his mates in tow and revenge on their minds, Danny sets out to right the wrongs and finish his dream date better than it started.
